Wheel Abrasive Test

The wheel abrasive test is performed to assess a wheel's wear resistance.

The wheel abrasive test can compare the wear-resistant various wheels or the same wheel under different situations. The abrasive wheel test aims to examine the characteristics of the material abrasive wheels and the overall structure with or without deformation damage; test results can be used for reference and improvements.

The test standards for wheels will differ based on the material of the wheel. Steel wheels, for example, will have different test standards than aluminum wheels.

For example, the 3kg-weight will be loaded to the bracket.

The machine is set up to spin about 4,000 cycles per hour and rest for 15 minutes after every 2,000 cycles. This indicates that the gadget will run for 8 hours every day, with 4 hours of spin time and 4 hours of rest time. The cycle time can be changed depending on the specific customer request or the material's test standard.

The wheel should not have any damages or irregularities after the test. The wheel should be in fine working condition and ready to be used again. The wheel should be repaired or replaced for any damages or irregularities.
